Hello, I'm Oscar, not Omar. I enjoy playing the violin, and I am a 7th moving to 8th grader. I enjoy anything that is fun, but will help others. Not hurt them.

For the Music Project Part 1, I pick the tonic F# as the tonic for my major and minor scales. To figure out the scales correct notes, I used the formula for a major scale(W,W,H,W,W,W,H). The W is a whole step from the note, and the H is a half step from the note. For the minor scale, I used the formula for a melodic scale(W,H,W,W,H,W,W), but raise the 6th and 7th note by a half step.

For Music Project part 2, I had my song be in 6/8 time. My music teacher told the class that "less is more" meaning that simple is better than complex. I wrote my melody for my major to be a nice, fast song to dance to. For the minor, I wrote it to be a nice, slow yet fast song.

For the Music Project part 3, I copied and pasted my part 2 to part 3. I then added triads that matched the melody of each measure. For the first measure the triad was of the base of F# and the last and the fifth the triad was of the base of C#. The other measures were of what I think the main note is. I believe that my major and minor song sounds pretty well done.
